We diversified with ETFs. But our data was everywhere: one broker for BVB, another for US stocks, plus a Google Sheet trying (and failing) to keep up with FX moves and real-time net worth.

Then came tax season. Calculating capital gains across multiple currencies and local rules was the breaking point. We were trying to build long-term freedom — but the tooling was working against us.
